Surgical Services...

Lakeside’s team of specialists is pleased to offer many surgical services including laparoscopic, vascular, oral, orthopaedic, plastic, hand and urology.  Our high caliber surgeons perform many intricate, breakthrough procedures at Lakeside. Many of our surgeons are also affiliated with other hospitals in the area including the University of Rochester.

General surgeons, Dr. Hovaness Maronian, Chief of Surgery, and Dr. John Risolo began performing MammoSite, which is a form of partial breast irradiation in conjunction with a lumpectomy.

Dr. Michael E. Leit, Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon, has been profiled in the newspaper for his outstanding treatment of severe injuries in hand and upper extremity cases.

Dr. Harris N. Silver, Orthopaedic Surgeon, lower extremity and general Orthopaedic cases.

Dr. Robert Cohen with Rochester Vascular Surgery Associates performs the VNUS closure procedure to treat venous insufficiency.  This clinically proven and minimally invasive procedure is less expensive, virtually painless and requires minimal recovery time.

Please ask your physician to refer you to Lakeside’s team for your surgical needs.
